- Lee Lam Thye has proposed that the said to be "Malaysia Day" to be held for the first time ever on the 16th of September this year be renamed "National Unity Day". Is Lee losing touch of the politics in Sabah and Sarawak? Is he not sensitive enough to the feelings of the people of Sabah and Sarawak who have for more than 46 years celebrated an independence day that has no particular relevance to them (31 August 1957)
- If we are to celebrate "National Unity Day" then where is Malaysia?
